A Certificate of Good Standing is an official certificate issued by the Secretary of State's office, that certifies that your corporation or LLC exists and that it is current with its annual report filings and/or annual franchise taxes.

Certain state agencies, banks or businesses may require such official evidence before conducting business with your corporation or LLC.

An Apostille is a special form of certificate or document certification which is being used outside of the United States. An apostille further authenticates the certified copy of a certificate or document for use internationally (overseas).

An apostille is only recognized by those countries which are members of the Hague Convention of 1961 Abolishing the Requirement for Legalization of Foreign Public Documents.
